Soho is one of the main gay bars in Amsterdam, located in the hearth of the gay street, Reguliersdwarsstraat.
The bar is open almost (depending on the season) all week. It gets really busy in the weekend on Friday and Saturday in the weekend, from around midnight. It is one of the most popular and biggest gay bars in Amsterdam. The crowd is usually quite young.
The interior is classic English / American style. The ground floor features a small dance floor. Live DJ's play their happy pop and dance tunes. The second floor has another bar (only open when it's very busy) . The bathrooms and coat check are located on the 3rd floor.
This place can be crowded, be aware of pickpockets. Don't leave your jacket unattended but use the coat check on the 3rd floor.
The street is a pedestrian zone, no cars or bikes are allowed. In summer the Soho terrace and street is a relaxed and popular hangout.
Guys usually move between Soho and opposite bars Taboo, De Taboo Kantine and Bar Blend. The timing often depends on an happy hour strategy.
