Costa Rica is a beautiful country in Central America with beautiful nature, wild life and (active) volcanoes. Costa Rica is working hard to promote eco tourism. It is only 2 hours flight time from Florida, so you can easily combine it to recover from an all gay cruise from Ft Lauderdale for example!
Do a few days in San Jose do tours from there, and rent a car to see the country.
