Maspalomas Winter Pride began as the smaller sibling to the massive May edition, but has grown into the island’s second-biggest LGBTQ+ event. Held each November in Playa del Inglés, it combines open-air concerts, parties, and a relaxed holiday vibe under Gran Canaria’s still-pleasant autumn sun.
The Yumbo Centrum is the heart of the festival. Every night, the open-air stage hosts drag shows, singers, and international performers. After the shows, the square transforms into a huge outdoor dance floor, where DJs keep the crowd moving until late. The atmosphere is social and easygoing, with visitors from all over Europe mixing on the terraces and balconies.
The parade is smaller than in May, but no less fun. One truck carries the week’s performers while a costumed crowd follows, turning the streets into a colorful moving party. It’s more intimate than the summer edition, which makes it feel approachable and friendly.
Weather in early November is generally sunny and warm enough for beach days, though the wind can sometimes add a chill. Pool parties and daytime events keep the festival lively, making Winter Pride a perfect excuse for a late-season escape with a mix of sunshine, shows, and nightlife.
