Closing Party Anniversary Weekend
One of the largest monthly gay circuit parties in North West Europe
“Legendary Gay Circuit Party at Fuse”

La Demence isn’t just a party, it’s practically Brussels’ most famous export after beer, chocolate, and surreal politics. Launched back in 1989, this monthly institution has grown into one of Europe’s longest-running and wildest gay circuit parties.

The venue is the legendary Fuse nightclub, a cavernous temple of techno beats that transforms into a sweaty, international playground. Expect thousands of men from across the continent, DJs spinning house and progressive until dawn, and a dance floor that doesn’t believe in personal space.

Fuse features two big dance floors, one smaller dancefloor on the top floor next to the cruisy darkroom.

The crowd is famously mixed in age, nationality, and outfit choices, anything from jeans to harnesses to nothing much at all. La Demence also throws special marathon editions for Pride and its anniversary weekends, which can stretch over three days of nonstop debauchery.

It’s not for the faint-hearted, but if you want to experience Brussels at its most unapologetically queer, La Demence is the night to remember, or half remember.

What the Crowd’s Saying

La Demence – Brussels’ Legendary Gay Party

Few parties in Europe inspire the kind of devotion La Demence does. Held at the iconic Fuse club, it’s described by many as the gay night of Brussels — a heady mix of rave, circuit, and house that draws thousands of men from across the continent.

The setting spans multiple floors and dance arenas, with pulsating DJ sets, spectacular light shows, and a free-spirited crowd that knows how to keep the energy alive until well past dawn. Visitors highlight the diversity of men, the uninhibited atmosphere, and the sense of total freedom that defines the night.

Whether stumbling in by accident or making a pilgrimage for its mega-events, most agree it’s an unforgettable experience — sweaty, steamy, and unapologetically wild. From October’s huge anniversary weekend to regular monthly blowouts, La Demence remains a benchmark for Europe’s queer nightlife.
