Where to stay
Amsterdam is a very open and tolerant city, and so are the hotels. They are all very much welcoming the LGBTQI+ community.
- Stay centre (Down town) of Amsterdam, almost all gay places, bars, clubs and saunas are on walking distance.
- Stay near Reguliersdwarsstraat / Amstel and you will be absolutely in the heart of the action
- The area around Vondelpark is a central but much more quiet option
- Large brand hotels with cheaper options are located mostly further from center. Expect a 20+ minute ride by local transport, which isn't so bad. But keep in mind the metro does not run after midnight, and Taxi/Uber can be expensive and playing hard to get during pride weekend
