Everyone here keeps in their group of friends. THis is a fun and great place, show up before 11 PM so you don't have to wait in line, it's hard to find, it's not label as de trut or anything like that and the street is not labeled. If you go down kinkerstraat, it's on the same street as the comfort inn. Things are very cheap here, 1.50 euro to get in, 1 euro beer. You can barely hear the music, only a few people dance here.

Nice place to go. Young croud and mostly you see new people here. Not the awful GIRLY queens you see everywhere in town (name all the gayplaces & barbieparty's). Music is nice and unloud. Prices are the cheapest in TOWN, of overall AMSTERDAM !! You cannot get it cheaper (what the dutch like mostly). Well everybody's talk about de Trut as a non-cruising area... but we know better !

Well, 12 times Fresh, 4 times Rapido are no secret anymore. And elsewhere on this website you can read that a new bi-monthly gayparty in Escape will start. And I heard also rumours about a old party coming back to Amsterdam.
Besides that we also have the Furball, xxxLeather, Club Cut, Crew Lounge. And White Party and Orange Ball will be back in Melkweg again. Somewhere on the website of Riedijk I read also something about maybe a CO2-party coming back to Amsterdam. And Black Party will be held also in february.
And in between you can always go to Club Trash, Unk or Studio 80.

Not really true... next year there will be many new parties or good existing parties more times a year. So A'dam will be back!
But gay Amsterdam is going to Demence the 1st of January and having homeparties the 31st of December :)

Hey...is Trut going to be open on New Year's Eve, Sunday Dec 31? If so, what are the chances I will get in? I'm visiting Amsterdam from America, and I'd really like to check it out. On the map it looks very far from the center--is it worth trekking all the way out that night or should I go elsewhere? I can't seem to find nighttours info about Amsterdam New Year's parties. I've got a ticket to La Demence on Jan 1, but where's the place to be that eve?

This place can be really surprising. One week it's crap, the other week it's f'ing A.
Be there at least 45 minutes before opening to queue, otherwise forget it or don't show up till 1 AM.

This place is one of in kind, very laid back & cheap surroundings, friendly and young crowd. If you are not looking for a glamourous and fancy night, this is the place to be! Normally people go there not just for a dance, they go for a nice talk as well, they arrive as a group, but easy to get in contact with strangers. In addition, very cheap spot too. Unfortunately, only opened on Sunday, too bad for the working folks.

This place was great. Good mix of music, fantastic atmopsphere and great looking people
