EGO is Bilbao’s big, central sauna, tucked inside the galleries at Plaza Zabalburu (enter via the mall). The vibe is relaxed and masculine: a quiet start on weekday afternoons, then busier after work and late on weekends. In the bar area you’ll hear low-key pop and house; elsewhere it’s all steam, shadows, and cruising.
Expect a mixed age crowd, locals, business travelers, and guys in town for pintxos and play. The layout is easy to read: steam and dry heat up front, a long maze of cabins and darker zones in back. Staff keep the place orderly, towels moving, and the temperature just right.
