I went there for the first time this year (Oct 2014) after deciding I no longer want to spend my money at EMC, where they have an attitude of "give us your money, then fuck off" (plus their facilities are rapidly deteriorating to the point of being dangerous — I cut my foot on a broken tile). Anyway, Apollion was a welcome surprise — clean, friendly, apparently newly renovated, and with a nice assortment of men. It seems to get pretty crowded in the late afternoon (I've been back a few times), with the numbers tapering off about 7 or 8 in the evening. Cost is 15 euros for an Anddos pass (valid one year) and 13 euros entrance (vs 15 at EMC!) They have an especially nice pool!

Rome is like one big open air museum. museum. On the streets you see not only beautiful buildings from the Roman Empire or the Renaissance, but also lots of gorgeous Italian boys. At night, sometimes they are a bit hard to find and approach, but Nighttours will help you!Rome gay travel guide
Gay Rome / Roma
Welcome to the Nighttours guide to Gay Rome.
Rome is like one huge historical open air museum: the Colosseum (70-80) and the largest amphitheatre ever built in the Roman Empire, the Roman Forum, the Pantheon, the Trajan's Column, the Catacombs of Rome, the Circus Maximus, the Baths of Caracalla, the Arch of Constantine, the Pyramid of Cestius, Vatican City, the Piazza Navona and the Spanish Stairs. The list of things to see is endless.
Most bars and clubs are scattered throughout the city. In summer the biggest weekly gay event is the Gay Village, where most of the gay boys and lesbian girls will party and enjoy shows.
We feature all gay bars, clubs and gay saunas in Rome. Gay life in Rome is not so easy to find and changes a lot.Rome gay guide
The best time of the year to visit Rome is in the Authem or early / mid Spring. In summer it's (too)hot and all local gay guys will be on holiday themselves. About 40 minutes from Rome you can find a gay beach however, with lots of hot guys.Rome gay map

Well, on September 2014 I was there for several times, first of all it is really a clean sauna, mostly crowded on wednedays in the evening after 18 pm. There are several cabins upstairs if you want to use. I had done naughty things in the jakuzi with a hot young hairy admirer, we were both excited. And one day it the evoparete room we had done 3some! Yeah it was hot in there :) The only thing is; they dont give any condoms to you, you have to bring. Another day I got cum by a blondy hot young admirer again. If you want to cruise in a clean place here is the right adress. Just wait and have fun,
Well, I went on a Sunday at 18h00 (6 pm), 20 euros from via veneto each way.Just what i expected with just one multi floor darkroom which was good....but nobody - or hardly - there. The one possible who jumped on me was in urgent need of a shower lol. The usual Italian camp of showing ID/passport and having all details pur online and 12 EUR. I wish they would realise it's 2014. In short, don't go unless yuo are desperate....I must have been. The little sweety at reception did call me a taxi when I asked...it's miles out of town. Oh well!!!!
My partnew and I spent 5 days in rome at the beginning of febuary this year, we stayed at second floor upstairs and many hours at coming out thanks to Romano and Pasqual two of the staff we had and amazing.time. Also because of them we are returning.for pride in june for a week and half and.look forward to more great times. Thanks boys
A strange place: stone-clad, no Café or bar to spend some time out, unfriendly atmosphere. If you want to spend 20 Euros I strongly recommend skipping this place and go to a nice restaurant. I went Friday evening and it was one of the worst Sauna palces I have ever been to.
