If you ever wondered what happened to all those skoda's and Lada's that used to drive around the old communist block, here's your answer: They're mounted to walls as hunting troffees.
I never cease to be amazed about Termix. During the week it doubles as a cocktail bar but starting Thursdays the atmosphere changes completely. Termix is THE PLACE TO BE at the moment. The decor, the drinks and the people are amazing. The barstaff sure knows what they're doing. The music is a great mix of current dancetunes and local popmusic.
Termix features a darkroom which might be difficult to find at first, but soon as you enter the men's room, you're not to far of. Unlike Gezjee'R these people look after their toilets and using them is a pleasure. It's even fitted with a shower just outside the darkroom which might come in handy if you've had to much to drink. This place never seems to close. I found myself there at eight in the morning nursing a drink in one hand and a czech cutie in the other. There's no entrance fee and the prices are reasonable.
Probably the best/one of the best places to go to in Prague for a drink, meeting locals and nice pop/dance music. Always packed during weekends. Very reasonable priced drinks. Sometimes too busy. You can combine the visit with Valentino, which is in walking distance.
Termix is a nice little club that is hidden behind a heavy door in the Vinohrady section of Prague. It is vibrant, colorful, but SMALL, SMALL, Small based on the number of people that can pack into the space on a Saturday night. It can be a bit hard to move around and forget actually dancing. Too crowded. But the space is energetic and fun.
The crowd is attractive and diverse (for Prague) with really sexy men of many ages and sizes. I would not recommend Termix for cruising or dark room action. It is just to bright and too crowded. There are rentboys available but, quite frankly, it's hard to tell them from anyone else at Termix.
The decor takes many of the best elements of other European clubs in puts them all in a small space. The bar itself provides the lighting and other effects such as disco balls and an old car sticking out of the wall provide visual interest.
The music is a mixture of indecipherable Czech music but also a healthy mix of English and American tunes. The DJ wasn't breaking new ground but just as easily could have been playing his iPod through the speakers. The music was good, and he was talented as anywhere else in Prague.
A visit to Termix is a must, particularly for anyone wanting a loud, glittering, crowded gay space.

Termix seems to be a popular place in Gay Prague for gypsies to ply their unscrupulous 'trade', drinks and music are nothing to write home about.

Lots of male prostitutes, women and "bent" gays. I've seen just a few people on Sunday so they closed at midnight and told me "out". Never ever. Wed-Sat more crowd, but not for me!

This disco is just a normal place i wouldn't go regularily. Crowd is not bad, but for me the music is way left-behind and dance floor is too small. Plus seems quite some of the straight girls go to there just to have some POP music fun. Worth for a visit, but not so much my personal favourite at all.
