If you buy a ticket at www.pann.nl beforehand you can come in easily. There're tickets for 22:00, 22:30 and 23:00. You are actually really lucky if you got in without a prebought ticket. The reason you have to buy tickets is that young people from all around the NL come to this party and you don't want to be sent back home with the message: Sorry we're overcrowded. The party on itself is great, you just have to buy tickets.

I disagree with Branden completely. PANN is by far the best party in the Netherlands. Always a very easy going atmosphere and a nice mixed young public and good music. The parties are always very big. A lot of friends of me from Amsterdam go every month to this party. You have to be very early (before 10pm), otherwise you can go in anymore.

PANN is by far the most overrated of the Dutch parties. Not only is it in Utrecht-but you have to wait in the queue by 9PM if you want a chance to get into this party. They turned away plenty of people that showed up at normal clubbing hours. The crowd is young (and on the flamboyant side for the most part) and just a giant set-up for such a disappointing party. Not worth going all the way to this party from Amsterdam; even barely worth it if you are in Utrecht!
