I’ve been there a few years ago and loved it. However, I visited again (this time with close friends)and was treated like a petulant stupid child. Apparently we weren’t allowed to talk while the performance was going on (and we had no idea). My previous experience in this bar was that it wasn’t a problem. It’s not like we were talking really loud either. We were whispering in fact. I travel to Mykonos often, and won’t be visiting this bar again. My friends and I are very nice to staff, tip really well and appreciate new experiences. We are not loud, rude, obnoxious alcoholics – and that is exactly what we were treated like. I really did enjoy my last visit a few years ago, but the way they treated my friends and I was just awful. I no longer recommend this place, unless you’re really boring, have nothing to say to the person next to you, enjoy watching performers that think they are amazing and relish being patronized by your waiter.
Not sure who came up with the "drag divas" description but that's not the Piano Bar—it's live cabaret with talented (and fun) performers (NYC-Provincetown circuit when they're not in Mykonos) who return annually. Beautiful setting in Venezia, an international clientele, gorgeous bartenders, and warm hosts Nikos & Jody make everybody feel welcome. Start your Mykonos night here!
BEWARE OF THIEVES!!! Was drunk (my fault) and a guy made eye contact with me, I followed him to the rocks around the church. He pretended like he was interested in me, grabbed my butt and stole my wallet! I had too much to drink so it's my own fault, but Do Not Come Here!
