Seoul gay guide

Korea is not a very open country for LGBT life. The traditional gay life was all underground in places in small alleys behind closed doors. The tradional gay area is Jongno, it is a bit more opened up, but still mostly for locals.

The gay area for tourists is Itaewon.

When visiting Seoul it's best to stay in the city centre, and from there explore the city during the day and take a taxi or metro to the gay night life places.
