Baku

Gay Baku travel guide

We added Baku to our Nighttours pages when Azerbaijan hosted the Eurovision Song Contest. Although Baku was not a very easy destination to reach, still many Eurovision fans went, and so did we.

Baku  is a very rich oil city, and we have to admit that (some) part of that money is really well spend in creating a magical city. Many of the new buildings are incorporated in the old city with a lot more taste than for example Dubai

Azerbaijan is a secular state and has been up front in women's rights in the region.  But the country faces a lot of human rights problems and the LGBT community has a hard time and is officially non-existent.
