Ik vind Chueca wel heel erg leuk! Ik ga er graag iedere week heen!
Zhao Yang (George) Sun 24 Jun 2007, 15:39 June 23rd, 2007 - compared to last year's closing, i must admit the party started with disappointments already. Location - very cheap and looks like an underground industrial bar, a better and chic place should be opted. Music - not very much of my style, some of them are good, but in general, one is similiar to another, no so much variaty. Performance & Host - prefer last year's performance although the gogo dancers are actually very good, but not very exciting as usual. The host only presented some speeches. There was one drag there, but only walking around not entertaining on the stage, what a waste! At last the crwod - less variaty and they contribute not enough to create an exciting atmosphere. If i am asked to give a score, a just pass score will be likely given to this 2007 round. Hope the party organiser can make a blast next year!
Roman Fri 15 Jun 2007, 00:42 Heeft iemand nog 2 kaarten over voor Mega Pann met startlokatie Winkel van Sinkel? Has anyone 2 tickets left for Mega Pann location: Winkel van Sinkel? Please let me know at one of my profiles, thnx!

marc Sun 26 Nov 2006, 16:10 I disagree with Branden completely. PANN is by far the best party in the Netherlands. Always a very easy going atmosphere and a nice mixed young public and good music. The parties are always very big. A lot of friends of me from Amsterdam go every month to this party. You have to be very early (before 10pm), otherwise you can go in anymore.
Andrew Mon 20 Nov 2006, 23:44 salut ça va???? tu es ou;;;; je suis proch de utrecht et je connais pas non plus la ville, .... j'ai 25 nas et toi???
Branden Mon 20 Nov 2006, 20:31 PANN is by far the most overrated of the Dutch parties. Not only is it in Utrecht-but you have to wait in the queue by 9PM if you want a chance to get into this party. They turned away plenty of people that showed up at normal clubbing hours. The crowd is young (and on the flamboyant side for the most part) and just a giant set-up for such a disappointing party. Not worth going all the way to this party from Amsterdam; even barely worth it if you are in Utrecht!
Barry Tue 20 Jun 2006 Sorry, I can't agree with that. It wasn't as packed as Lux. And the atmosphere wasn't as happy and party-minded as Lux.
I was there in the beginning of the night and later in the night, both times not busy in the Winkel.
The music was indeed very 90s, but come one, aren't we living in 2006? Why always going back to those times? Try something new, try music of now, not always back to the 90s. (and wasn't it the 1st anniversary instead of the 20th?)
Besides that, songs like "Fuck/Funk that" and "Ace of Base" are not really the best examples of the best of the 90s....
Also a pity that the Winkel doesn't have a good lightning-installation. (isn't a 'fault' of Enjoy!). The location/building and sound-system are good, but the light-effects are really bad and even less then an ordinary farmers-disco-bar in some small village.
M'nS Sun 18 Jun 2006 To JW ;
Yes, LUX was really slamming and we were very happy with this party. And, yes you are right, these doormen weren't right for this party.
( A new security company for the Monza that came as a package deal ). We weren't to happy about it and it won't happen again.
I hope it didn't spoil the rest of your your night.
George Sun 18 Jun 2006 June 17th, 2006 - closing party of the Midzomergracht festival The Lux.
It was my second time had a night out in Utrecht, a small town with lots of very young people (students).
Location - a former theater and now changed into a dance club. Nice enough, but not very classy. DJs - good music and especially the side man who played next to the DJs, the drummer i believe was amazingly impressive. Topped the whole night performance. Go-go dancers are great as well, they know how to dance indeed. The crowd was young, but fine. Many people from Amsterdam attended the party, the place could fill a bit more locals.
Compared to the openning party, both had completely different styles. I must say, the closing party is more GAY in every way: music, atmosphere, and crowd. However the opening party is more happy & cheerful. I liked them both, but i know for most of the real hardcore gay men, they prefered the closing one. Well done, Utrecht! Hope to experience it next year again.
JW Sun 18 Jun 2006 All ingredients for a good party: good atmosphere, good lights, good music, nice club, nice party!
Just one big thing: The doormen.... people with sneakers get a story about "normally we don't accept it, but just for once you can enter. Coming gayparties here in Monza will have that same rule: No sneakers"
Besides that, taking your shirt out, ended with a doorman next to you....
Really a pity that such a gayparty got this kind of attitude-doormen. Lets so hope this will change! It spoiled my evening already before I was inside....
Zhao Yang (George) Sun 11 Jun 2006 June 10th, 2006: First time had a night out in Utrecht and first-time experienced a bit of the gay life in this nice city. The party was indeed massive in terms of the people attendance (more than 2,000 i heard). Location is huge with cool big-screens. Music is good, but the sound system is not very impressive, can be improved. The crowd is very mixed, straight, gay, many lesbians. In general, pretty friendly people(especially the girls), but not very easy to get contact with the men there, maybe they are very shy?
To conclude: i had a freshly new experience through this event and of course i had a lovely night too. If you are looking for a happy, cheerful, gay-friendly rather than a real gay wild party, then this is the choice!!!!!
Nicolo Fri 28 Apr 2006 Hello!
do you have infos on the artists that will be there?
