Oh boy! This is a night out! Crowd and performers interacting and one to remember. Thx to the Sydney Convicts Rugbyclub the participation was secured. Thx guys.
Mardi Gras Parade has grown to become a major cultural event and its appeal stretches well beyond Sydney's gay community and its close supporters.
10,000 costumed and flesh-baring participants, spread across 4km and 150 themed floats will parade Oxford Street.Tens of thousands of people line the central Sydney route to watch the parade, many waving rainbow-coloured flags in a symbol of diversity and inclusiveness.

Cannot believe the amount of volunteers who just get in the way of people who are trying to watch the parade. They seem to volunteer to get FRONT VIEWING of the parade. It did not matter what colour t shirt they had on, white, orange or blue they all just stood around talking to each other and obstructing the view of all of the spectators. We only saw Team Leaders actually running around and doing something. Maybe something to think about next year so as not to disappoint spectators AGAIN.

AN ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS AND FANTASTIC EVENT music, colour, costumes, floats the lot , worth going to and FUN FUN FUN
