What is it?

Babylonia used to be the best place in town, and is still the only sauna right in the heart of the centre, however since Labyrint opened it's doors, locals and others often prefer to go there. Advantage is Babylonia has a gym, but the sauna area is getting older and last I heard people were complaining about the whirlpool being more or less cold.

I visited sauna Babylonia on a Tuesday evening, early November. I stayed in the sauna from 8 until 10 pm. After entering, a cute looking, bearded guy opened a window telling me that I had to pay 300 Kc. I received a single towel. Later, I figured out that you can get a second towel for 10 Kc.
The changing room is a quite open space. Finding the showers needs some navigation, as you have to pass the bar area. From then on, it is pretty straightforward.
The whole area is actually pretty nice. It still looks fresh with sufficient light in the shower and Finnish sauna areas. The sauna itself is not very large, but large enough to accommodate five or so. At the time i Visited, there were 15 or so other guys aged somewhere between mid thirties and early forties, with one older bloke and one pre-thirty.
After heating up in the Finnish sauna, I relaxed on one of the lounge chairs. It's a great place to watch naked bodies. There was not a lot of talking, though.
Adjacent to the relax area is one of the two steam rooms. I was a bit disappointed about this one: It was dark and the benches were just to cold to sit down. This team room is actually like a small maze, which you can exit on the other side. Opposite of this steam room is the entrance of a second steam room. This one is even darker (man, why so dark?), and much hotter. Here, the benches are too hot to sit down. But sitting down is apparently not the reason to enter the room. Hardly in there, a good looking guy entered and immediately went into action. Man, that was good!
After relaxing a bit in the bar (prices are reasonable: a beer costs 50 Kc), I went into the cellar were you find cabins. Lots of action there and no problems to find a nice bloke to share a cabin with.
After a last time in the Finnish sauna and some cooling down, I decided to leave. I had a great time! I would definitely come back when I'm in Prague again.
Good: nice atmosphere, friendly staff, modern and clean.
Less good: Steam rooms are very dark. I do not understand why there are two rooms. Instead, a whirl pool would be better.

Gross, Unfriendly, Cold and empty sauna with few old fat and sick looking people. Avoid if you can.
Staff is arrogant, indifferent and rude. I hated my experience. I was verbally abused and ignored at the bar. Snarky bartender will snap at you for no reason and you'll get bored and frustrated.
AVOID!!!

I went to this sauna yesterday, Sunday, for the naked party. Did I have fun? No, the guys were naked indeed but there were 7 of them. Did I enjoy the experience? Yes, because despite the fact it was empty, the facilities are very good and it's all very clean... And at European level, it's rather cheap as well ;-) in conclusion: if you absolutely want to get laid: skip it, if you want to relax in a gay environment, try it!!

I have visited Babylonia twice. One on Saturday evening and there was only 5 people over the age of 50 inside and nothing was happening, than I have visited the following day (sun) and there was 4 people over the age of 50 inside. Although the sauna was clean and not bad but the staff was extremely rude and especially when the find out that your foreigner than they would robe you! Terrible, so don't waste your time and money in Babylonia!!!

Visited Babylonia on a Friday night with foam party 2030-2330 in September 2014. It was real fun with a lot of action in the foam. Nice crowd between 20-70 with most guys around 40. There was room for many more, but most of them seems to have had the sex there were looking for. Recommended!

Was there on Saturday ~8PM and certainly had good time.
+ It looks new. And clean (!!).
- There were not too many people (10?) BUT it's not a large place (like Labyrinth) so after a short while everybody know the options, stop walking around and get down (or up) for business.
- No Jacuzzi. Only dry + 2 wet saunas (one of them so steamy that you cannot get inside)
+ Nice public place in the cinema, very convenient laying down. I had some good fun with an English tourist.
Most people are 30-something and up.
I will go again if I’m around.

Nice gay sauna in Center of Prague. Two steam rooms and both double as a muse/dark room. I was there
In October 2013 on a Friday. Not very busy and most
Guys were 45-50 with few early 40.
I think I was the only 30s something guy. Some action happen but overall was not busy. There is also downstairs for private cabins and glory hole and a video room. I had some oral and also fucked one guy in the cabin. Not bad

Ripped off as soon as I got there. I had just had my money changed so knew that I only had a 2000 note in my pocket. I apologised as I gave this to the guy at reception who then gave me change for 1000. When i pointed this out he laughed and told me I had given him a 1000. This despite oir earlier conversation. His manner and clear lack of concern implied that this is a regular thing for him.
The TV in the cinema area was showing a menu page for a DVD with no change for at least an hour. It was impossible to get served at the bar. Maybe just as well as I dread to think what they would have taken from me for a drink.
