I HAD BEEN GOING TO THE MONSTERS FOT THE PAST 20 YRS. FROM LAST YEAR I GOT TIRED WITH THE DJ'S PLAYING THE MUSIC NOT TO PLEASE THE FOLKS ON THE FLOOR BUT FOR THEMSELVES,ESPECIALLY ON A SATURDAY NIGHT WHEN I USED TO MOSTLY VISIT. I HAVE SINCE STOP VISITING SINCE OCTOBER BECAUSE THE MUSIC WAS TOO BORING.I REACH TO THE POINT THAT I DO NOT EVEN HAVE THE URGE TO RETURN. I WAS A FAITHFUL CUSTOMER,AND NEVER WANTED TO VISIT ANY OTHER CLUB.WITH THIS SAID I HAVE NOT BEEN TO ANY OTHER CLUB EITHER.
My favorite club in New York - - and perhaps the world. Super friendly, strong drinks, nice staff, decent music. It's always a good time at The Monster. This visitor from Chicago always looks forward to walking down the spiral staircase to the basement dance club!
