It used to be good (though not flash etc), with great crowd of no-attitude regulars. The renovations & new owners changed things, not all for the best. It's a flash venue now: and I think the heart and soul changed for the negative. In my opinion the patrons have more attitude now, and whilst some staff can be really good, others can also bad (rude or bad attitude and not friendly). It's no longer worth joking & talking to security, which I used to before staff changes. I personally don't feel safe or welcomed there any more. Drinks can be expensive depending on what you order. The acts used to be good. The acts can be good now, but not always consistently like they used to be in my opinion. I recommend you look out for yourself and friends, be careful and try to stay safe, when out on the scene at all venues (not just in Melbourne but nationally).
