lots of men in sat nites especailly after 2am when the twinks cum in wooooooow!!!!!

Door staff very ignorant, dismissive and possibly racist. They have a very poor judgement as to who is potential trouble and who is not.they don't even know how to talk to people and always opt for physical intervention as the first resort.

Similar to all the other reviews, on this site and others, I find the club itself to have a bad atmosphere, but worse are the aggressive, unprofessional bouncers, and what many have described as their discriminatory admission policies. Of half a dozen times there since it was Spirit, I've seen gay guys turned away for not being the right kind of camp; women turned away arbitrarily, and have had TWO instances where a full group has got in, until they got to frisking the last guy in the group (in both cases gay, but Asian or Arabic). On those two occasions, the whole groups were then pulled back out. While we can't be certain, lets just say that none of us were in much doubt about the reasons the group happened no to get in those times.

Don't waste your money guyz, I've had more men in my bedroom!

Had a brilliant night in G-A-Y, we had to queue for about 5 minutes, there was a group of 6 of us, we didnt have any problems on the door as we are not skanks! They have a really strict door policy so that it stays nice inside and really friendly ... they bounce loads of skanky people so why bother trying to get it! ... brilliant night out :)

The place is very small, it looked to me 2 small 3 bed rooms flat one downstairs , one upstairs,mostly empty, the rooms are very claustrophobic , vey hard to move inside the rooms( they small cabins), no cruising area , in a nutshell, dull, small, empty and no much going on....

There was a group of 8 of us and when we went to get in at GAY was told it was regulars only despite 2 of our group let in asked to speak to the manager nd he was just as bad as the bouncers when we then challenged him about discrimination nd he said we had attitude problems what a joke needless to say we wont be returning to GAY nd wil make sure I tell people planing to go there

Karen I have sufferred the same fate however I was short changed at the bar and then made to feel that i was being unreasonable! I also never received a response to complaint until I told them I was reporting them for discrimination! Would also never go back saturday night ruined making sure all my friends don't go either!!

will never be back because of the bouncer very rude and unprofessional, ruined are night and unpleased with the lack of response from the manager

Nobody else was in the place but they let me pay full whack to go in !!!!!! Pretty abysmal

I was here last night (friday the 20th May 2011) When i paid for my TWO drinks (blue VHF and a can of carling) it came to five pounds, i handed over a TWENTY pound note and got FIVE pounds change. When pointe dthis out to the bar maid, she said, no you gavce me ten, i asked to speak to the manager, he told me that i would have to wait untill they cashed the tills up at the end of the night at 3am.

I waited untill 3am, spoke to the same manager who said they they wernt closing until 4am, he would cash up and ring me the next day. I said thathis was out of order. The managedr then accused me of trying to pull a fast one on them and said we could watch the CCTV footage as it would be clear enough to show what note i handed over, even though the camera was on the till, so i asked how the camera on the till could see the other end of the bar clear enough to show what note i handed over. At this point i got ejected by a door man who said i was abusing the manager.

Needless to say i got NO phone call.

This is a dispicable that a customer should be treated like this, either tis is somthing that themanagment TELL the staff to do, or the lady on the bar is a thief.

DO NOT GO HERE!

There ar ebetter clubs with much better service where they do NOT steal your money.

These letters absolutely show why a lot of gay people are really turned off by s8t people. These bars are for gay people and are being spoilt by fag hags who should nget a life instead of getting in the gays ways

Paid the fee to get in around midnight on Saturday. Place was half empty. So we left our coats and went to Cruz 101, which was packed. After couple of hours, we decided to get our coats back from AXM. Door staff didn't let us in and we were told that we have to pay again. Even though both of us had stamps on and coat check key ring. Manager (or so he said) was extremely rude. After about 10 minutes standing in freezing weather we finally got our coats back. We will never ever come back here again.
