Best time to go is during Manchester Gay Pride, mostly held at the last weekend of August (Friday till Monday). The whole block of the Gay Village where all the gay bars and clubs are is sealed off for 4 days.

Gay Pride in Manchestrer is 4 days of partying from early afternoon till very late at night. There's a lot to do for everyone: for people liking the bars, for clubbers, for lesbians, bears, leather guys etc. Everything comes together in the Gasy Village. It's definitely worth the visit.
