SuperMartxe - Alice in Wonderland 01/01/10 review:
Logan was right, this was not going to be your average tea party! This was the return of the B’itches after our terrible swine flu B.itch of all summers. This party was throbbing – a full house! – it was a sea of gyrating hot bodies as we made our way down into the dance floor in front of the stage. The music being perfectly mixed by SuperMartXe Madrid’s very own resident maestro DJ Juanjo Martin.
The stage show started around 21.00 with one of my favorite tracks – a super PA with a mix of ‘Sweet Child of Mine’ sung by Alice in Wonderland herself! It was the usual mix of exploding fireworks and sexy dancers. Although in all seriousness, having moved to this bigger venue and from the marketing blurb I was expecting something more 'fantastico' but the stage set was not on the impressive scale of Silicon Babes or Commando – so Coronet wins the day on that. However the stage show is just a useful intermission to have a rest and certainly didn’t dampen our enthusiasm for this event as a whole.
Our only gripes – the freezing hallways and staircases, massive coat check queue and the mounds of rubbish that you had to climb over!
But all in all for the B.itches return event we made the right choice, choosing the delights of a respectable sophisticated Tea Dance from one of the world’s leading super brand clubbing names and the top notch DJ Juanjo Martin – I’m sure he winked at me! Winked people!!! With probably the cutest and sexiest crowd in London. Viva SuperMartXe Londres – FANTASTICO.
