Falling apart and depressing with some rather odd customers - cheaper than other saunas but you get what you pay for I guess

After attending the grand opening of Paradise Spa gay sauna last Sunday was out within half an hour, the whole experience was very disappointing. Having in consideration the big void in terms of gay saunas in North London (most are based in Central, East and South) my expectations were very high. I’ve also been in many other London, UK and European saunas. Upon entering alarm bells start ringing when noticed the cheap green carpet that leads to the locker rooms which are very small and there is no place to sit down. The jacuzzi and sauna rooms are small, the steam room is tiny with six cheap white plastic chairs and the showers just in front look dirty and dated. The toilets seem to have stayed in the last century, very basic function. Upstairs are located the darkrooms that are quite tiny and very bright, only a few are functional, most of them are still not finished. The cinema room has the most uncomfortable wooden round sit ever, instead of a nice large leather mattress or massive pillows. The only good thing about this sauna is the lounge area and bar but the least important in this kind of business. There is no sling or glory holes either. I can’t comment on the quality of guys there as we all have different tastes but couldn’t see anyone of major sexual interest. Overall this space is not good and not worth the £13 quid entry fee per visit. You better off going to Finsbury Park cruising just 10 minutes walk away, you will probably be satisfied more quickly and without paying a penny. As stated in their website, this sauna hasn’t been professionally designed, the design is very poor and will not rival any other London sauna, nevermind Europe’s best.
