Used to be best sauna in London - now it's appalling. The place is usually quite empty now. It is not difficult to see why. They have increased entry price to £20. The place is shabby. One of the largest and cruisiest areas downstairs has been closed for ages. With so many saunas in London, I am surprised this over priced and sub standard place has remained open. Shame, circa year 2000, it was the sauna to go to for a fantastic time...

Dreadful sauna. Playing football on the TV. Have to pay for drinks when ordered and very old clientele. Expensive to get in and dingy environment. Avoid.
Entry is £19, concessions £17.. this pretty much tells everything. Their prices are simply ridiculous. I did the mistake of going once many months ago when it was slightly cheaper, and it was one of the worst decisions i made in my life. Wondering how they are still in business.. is there anyone desperate enough to pay so much money for a kitch smelly sauna to spend a few hours with a couple of 70+ yo men? There are much nicer saunas such as the huge Sweatbox in Oxford Circus, and the smaller but trendy Sauna Bar in Covent Garden..
I used to enjoy this sauna. Since few years ago I lost interest. Ridiculously expensive (£19). In one occasion I asked about the closure of the dark room, I got the incredibly rude response from manager. There is no customer service, most lockers are broken or poorly operate. Place suffers from lack of hygiene, particularly mid afternoon is so dirty. I might give it a chance in new year and if there is no progress I will stop going.
Although they have painted the depressing black out of the rooms it still remains an astonishingly bleak and un-imaganitive atmosphear. Nothing cozy about the place at all, garish lighting, lack of 'relaxing' place to sit and the air is generally heavy and the floors sticky. The lounge blairs out hidious, loud game shows or something equally boaring. The music is generally overly loud and repetetitious. The nicest area there is the stairwell at the front which leads upstairs. Half of the place is under construction for months, and price has gone up to £19 classic case of less for more! The good point? I usually get laid.

I've been twice and looooved it. I'm a very sexy young bottom and I loved all the attention I got, I was litteraly fighting guys off me lol, absolutely amazing. So many men walking round with that horny look in they're eyes, me and my round bottom felt like superstars
The sauna is sometimes not warm enough, the video room is now out of order for 3 weeks. I am not impressed with the service. Could be easy to get a video running some where els in the place. Needs some attention. But no we just interested in getting the money from the customers.
Excellent. I last visited in 2010, and they re-did the cubicles. Wide range of guys, all ages, sizes and tastes (I noticed a big number increase in the Hindi clients this last time). Lots of public action, and really good facilities.
The best spa in London. I went there last Saturday and it was really great.
i went to chariots shoreditch when it first opened. it was a gud place for the first 5 yrs. i have been to lots of saunas but this is one that i will never visit any longer. go and c and u will realise why i no longer go. it is a rest home and the staff especially manager is rude. too expensive and they giv nothing back to their customers. i along with a large number of my friends no longer attend. there are much better venues elsewhere. i was thrilled to read that they are closed in aug 2011 and hope they never reopen.i guess they have cash flow problems.
Just back home in Stockholm from London, spending a 48 hours cruise there. A great place this sauna, easy to find, nice staff,plenty of space for play. I was there twice and had a great time, f*cked an indian guy and a black guy, got f*cked 4 times by different men in the dark room, had several men sucking my dick. A great place and I will return shortly. Thanks for everything :-) Peter
Following reaping after fire they have changed the lighting. Everywhere is so dark and all regulars are complaining makes cruising so difficult. They need to rethink or they will loose a lot of regulars.
Just been to Chariots Shoreditch and it was a wast of £20 on taxis there and back and £16 in. Two cubicles locked, 2 obese 60 year old passed out and a walking cadaver. I was there for 7 minutes and asked for my money back or a comp pass. Resolute no from the manager. Seemingly I should have asked before I paid in how many were there and although he admitted he could refund or comp me, he refused. Seemingly I had to ring tomororw to complain and call back out to get a refund. Why bother??? Really terrible customer service and have to admit been going there frequently over the years and never seen it that quiet. Must be on the way down. Manager admitted it really quiet during the week. Waste of 50 quid all in so not bothering going there again! Managers attitude was really bad and not at all helpful. Surprising as you would think they would want to get people to come back. Don't even bother guys!
This sauna is really good and probably the best in London.
Bad, the whole place is quite cold.

Not sure what the big fuss was about this place was. I just thought it was ok. The only highlight for me was they offered massages on site. The other big highlight was the guy that f*cked me. Now that was the cherry on the cake. The rest of the men left slot to be desired, but like I said there is someone for everyone. Not sure what the big to do about this place is. They should take a look at sauna's like Steamworks in Chicago, or Deutsche Eiche in Munich. Thoes places are amazing.
