I'm surprised by some of these reviews as the reputation of this sauna is based on a meeting place for older / younger. So don't complain if it is full of old(er) men, and BTW, one day it will be YOU. Staff very friendly and place is regularly cleaned, but it could with a refit - retiling, new showers etc.
Used to be best sauna in London - now it's appalling. The place is usually quite empty now. It is not difficult to see why. They have increased entry price to £20. The place is shabby. One of the largest and cruisiest areas downstairs has been closed for ages. With so many saunas in London, I am surprised this over priced and sub standard place has remained open. Shame, circa year 2000, it was the sauna to go to for a fantastic time...

I visited last weekend (£15 entry). It's on three levels: you come in on level 2, with changing rooms, lockers relaxing room, showers (3), Sauna (2), steam room and, a good size Jacuzzi. Leading off level 2 is a stairs down to level 1 and the Play rooms. In addition, there is access to level 3 with spacious play rooms from the relaxation area. The upstairs play rooms are the best I have seen in a London Bath House. The venue is very clean throughout. The best attribute this venue has is the clientèle: friendly and not unapproachable - like most London saunas. Staff are equally approachable and keep things ship shape.
Had a great night in there last Friday. New party night. Lots of hot studs, a few hung like myself. Fucked 6 guys. Will be there again tomorrow.

I agree with the comments below, especially on the rude staff and the crazy prices they charge.. I thik it is better to spend £18 for a 48hour pass at Sweatbox in Oxford Circus, which is literally 3 days of using their facilities (huge place,3 floors, regular events and foam parties, younger and much better looking guys from all over the world).. At least its value for money.
Dreadful sauna. Playing football on the TV. Have to pay for drinks when ordered and very old clientele. Expensive to get in and dingy environment. Avoid.
Nice and friendly sauna ,staff are helpful and polite. Had a massage ,good value for the money. Yes attracts some older gents but all are professional and well mannered ,I recommend it ,very central so convenient too .i
One of the most worst gay sauna I've been in my life. It is totally dirty and full of old men for everywhere, the staffs are very rude and not a professional massage. They only want to get money and not service. Old guys, no soap, not good dry sauna anyway. Not rocommendable to anybody...
This bar is not a place to go on a Sunday afternoon or any afternoon. As during these times they is NO security and odd people come in and try and seal or start a punch up with you! Seriously the door staff don;t come on duty and the bar staff are not interested in the customers. Would you be on minimum wage? Drinks are a rip-off, except on Sunday when all the strange older people who have drink problems go! Seating is poor and dirty, Tv Video's are poor quality and the owner hasn't spent anything on the place since it opened 15 years ago!
Sunday nights seam to be the night most guys go. The tree's & bushes have been cut back so less cover & pickpockets & muggings regular even during daylight. PCSO's (community & some police on horseback/push bikes have been known to patrol mostly daytimes. Some murders also over the years. Not seen any ghosts so far. Small area in the shape of a Triangle. Honestly. It's walking distance of Clapham Junction Rail and Clapham Common/south underground stations.
The increase in their entry fees is typical of a business that is about to collapse (trying to exploit the few people that are so desperate to visit them until they close down). Speaking about their facilities, those definitely do NOT worth £16 or even £10. I agree with some other comments on the attitude of the staff which I would describe as nasty queens suffering from muscle dysmorphia, especially one of the masseurs. They are NASTY, probably the most disgusting individuals I have ever come across. No manners, making fun of customers without even trying to hide it, and being extremely rude even when you are handing them your money. Would NEVER EVER return there, even if they paid me. AVOID!
Its ridiculous how staff walk around with flashlights pretending to be looking for drugs under tables, carpets, storage units.. Where in fact drugs are taken inside private (rented) cabins! Saw this happening in three occasions on the same day (within 2-3 hours). Felt disgusted and left pretty quickly, it wouldnt come as a surprise if more deaths emerge in the near future.

I was there on a Wedenesday evening, ±30 people there of ages 25-45. There was a foam party that evening in a small area of the sauna (normaly steamroom?), but limited action in there. In general not to big place and like all places it depends on the people who are there. Sauna facilities are a bit worn (1 jacuzi, 1 sauna, 1 steamroom, showers). The cruising was ok, although the private rooms are small and didn´t look that clean. The relax area was cold... Left with a bit of mixed feelings to return sometime or never come again... probably try something else when in London again.
Not a friendly environment at all. All surface. When my friend asked for a manager to complain about lack of sanitary standards ie blocked sinks and toilets he was given lots of abuse and asked to leave. They snatched his drinks away and called the police. We won't be returning and my friends and colleagues will be advised to do the same.
