The Friday and Saturday night in Lisbon begins at midnight in the Bairro Alto. After dinner, the guys go to one of the many bars. At 2 am everone moves fro the bars and cafe to one of the clubs in the neighboorhood.
After fragil at 3.30 A.M. is time to go to one of the best discos in Lisbon (Lux). It is a mix place, specialy down-staires, don't miss it. You have to take a cab to go to Lux, it's not in the neighbourhood of Bairro Alto. If u are addicted to clubs and have much energy to spend, go to Kremlin afterwards .
The real gay clubs are Trumps or Finalmente.
Bric-a-Bar, Rua Cecilio de Sousa 82-84
Bric-a-Bar is quite a big and trendy club with 2 floors, but when we visited it on Friday night after 2 am, the place was empty. For your entry ticket you can purchase drinks. More info and reviews Map: 1
Finalmente, Rua da Palmeira 38
Very small bar and disco. The best drag shows in town: a must at 2:30am, also for the rest of town, because the club is packed at that time. If you like to have fun while being squeezed on all sides, don't miss it.

Extreme underground. Young and mixed crowd, many cute young men. The hotspot after 3 AM.

Lux, Av. Inf. D. Henrique, Arm-A. Cais da Pedra
The best nightclub in town, whose owner is John Malkovich (some say). In the summer it is best from 5am until 8am. Young crowd and all the artists and fashionmongers fill up the venue. Straight and gay mixed. Chill out music. More info and reviews
Trumps, Rua da Imprensa Nacional, 104B
Large gay club with two rooms next to each other: one with top 40 music and golden oldies and a second with house. Packed on Saturday night (but not before 2 am). Before closing time it gets very cruisy. In July / August foam parties on Sundays.More info and reviews Map: 6
