Bric-a-Bar

NO darkroom anymore!!!

Feb-2011: Bric has had new owners since Nov 2010 (the same guys who own the bar 106, which is not my piece of cake - I'm a local). It's really worth a visit on special occasions, as for example the parties thrown by the gay rugby team www.bjwhfrugby.org. It's open on Fridays and Saturdays from midnight till 6am.
The gay scene has changed a bit since last summer due to the opening of 2 bears bars WoofLx and Tr3s, just down the stret from Bric. These bars are really cool and WoofLx is the best thing happening in Lisbon's gay scene for decades!

Busy on Fridays an Saturdays after 2am. During the week, empty- 10 guests per night. Open usually at midnight. Prices reasonable [3.50E for 330ml beer] from time to time they organize shows [during the show darkroom is closed whole night]. Lisbon club scene is boring. Portuguese are stiff and the dance floor is usually empty. But still prefer Bric-a-bar [www.brichouseclub.com/] rather than Trumps where main crowd are women and their gay friends. Bric a bar is much more gay.

Endroit sympa, convivial, très chaud ...Clientèle mélangée et sympa...Bonne musique, cadre sympa

C'est un super club, bonne musique et très bonne ambiance, le dark room c'est cool aussi, mais le pire c'est que jamais est ouvert a 22 heures, ça ouvre le mercredi vers 23.30h, jeudi vers minuit et vendredi il vaut mieux d'aller vers 1 heure parce qu'on risque de trouver personne.

In this Autumn/Winter Bric is the place to start dancing in Lisbon. Friday night the darkroom is open, while on Saturday is close, so everybody is on the dance floor. Good music until 3AM, the right time to go to another club.

no more darkroom there, open only on sunday from 4 am, but they close at 4. so its a time waiter this bar.
