What is it?

Beach19 is one of the most beautiful (gay)beaches in Portugal. Located just under Lisbon it's an ideal place to spend your gay holiday.

The first part of the beach still is for nudisme, used by gay people as well as hetero sunbathers. If you walk south along the beach about 200 meters further from the entrance you'll find the gay beach. It stretches about 500 meters,

There used to be a beach train from Costa de Caparica, but 2012 is the last year it will be in service, only on weekends.
Best is to rent a car and drive there directly.

FREQUENTEI-A DURANTE MUITOS ANOS, E PRATIQUEI NUDISMO INTEGRAL. BOA PRAIA, EXCEPTO, QUANDO SE É ASSALTADO, COMO FUI UMA VEZ, VA LA NESSE DIA SO FIQUEI COM O FATO DE BANHO, QUE TRAZIA VESTIDO.

Hi!
how to get there: if you're in Cahilhas, take bus 135 instead of 124 - the former will take you to Costa da Caparica in 20 minutes, the latter in 45 minutes and the price is the same.
The beach is nice, but there are plenty of old guys starring at you all the time and almost no young ones.
So if you like to sunbathe on a nice beach and do not mind old gays starring go for it.
If you search for nice young guys, you'll be rather disappointed.

Hi, this is actually a really cool beach. Really relaxing and loads of cute guys around. To get there I used a local service with some gay friendly guys who were very helpful - www.lisbonbeach.com

Caparica was very nice, its 30 minutes from Lisbon by coach. It worth to visit it, very nice white sand beach with huge cruising area. Unfortunately the mini train did not work, and it's 10 km long walking from the beginning to the gay beach. But the last coach goes to Lisbon 10 pm.
