This is the big park in Taksim Square, behind MacDonald's and the bus stops. Cruising action is mainly on the part bordering Mete Caddesi (where Hotel Gezi is) where there are three lines of benches. Many rent boys. Can get dangerous at night time. Beware of the patrol police.

We then went to Sugar Cafe for a drink. He then suggested we go to a place he knows to have sex.
Along the way we were pulled aside by a couple of guys who said they were police and they robbed me.
I really believe this was staged and the guy i met at the park was involved.
Be careful!
I would not suggest this park.

Olivier Fri 26 Sep 2008, 00:59 If you seat on a bench you will notice that this place is a cruising place but as it is an open public park, it's discret especially if it's the 1st time they see you. Must be patient and see how locals act... but you should not be in a hurry.
