Pink Istanbul /Pink Amsterdam s a yearly art and dance event that raises awareness on gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transsexuals (GLBT) in the cultural society of both Istanbul and Amsterdam. The formula is quite simple but has a strong impact: a lot of art and dance, gay and straight, from Istanbul and Amsterdam, and everything in between…with positive examples of the influence of artists, art, music and dance on emancipation!
The Amsterdam gay scene will move to Istanbul. Pink Amsterdam is a coproduction of Club Pera (Amsterdam) LambdaIstanbul (gay rights movement Istanbul), COC Nethelands, The Hall Istanbul and Paradiso.
