The Yumbo is the gay heart of Playa del Ingles / Maspalomas. Here you find most of the gay bars and clubs on the island. It's called a "shopping center" but there are very few of those, it's all bars, clubs and restaurants and September - June it's dominated by gay guys.

Shopping is pretty well geared toward the tourist, although there are some great clothing stores, great and affordable places to eat. And bars bars and wait yes more bars! It's like gay disney land lol I have been told it's the place to see and be seen lol
