This used to be the Badehause sauna. It has been renovated last year, completely new and enlarged cruising area this year. Nice clean, luxurious sauna with big outside-pool (open all year), open fireplace and the biggest steam bath in Cologne. Located centrally near the clubs at the Ring for chilling after parties.
This is one of the worst places to go if you are in Köln. SERVICE: arrogant and impolite, it seems that the manager is taking care of a group of queenies and they ignore you. As soon as you arrive they are not keen to say hello.FOOD: Poor and expensive, be careful before ordering. CLEANLINESS: Could it be better. No condoms free (maybe they think it's not neccesary.PLACE: Huge and the paradice for smokers, even there is a guy somoking a cigar on the glory hole. STAFF: Typical German Queen arrogant and distant. POOL: very good if you want to be pop up by the oldest guys in Köln. GUEST: Nice and old +60's. difficult to find young guys.
Did went to Babylon on Monday the 29th of August. Although it was Monday and not a lot of guys were here, I did have a great time (as well did my husband). I love German guys: hot, rough, bearded...damn. The cruising area is really big and interesting. This place is a must to visit during your stay in Cologne! (BTW your ticket is valid for 24 hours so you can leave and return later on...)

One of the best saunas in which it was. Courteous, well attended, with smoking areas, and many opportunities to relax without necessarily having sex. Lot of movement in turkish bath, where people quietly sex. Changing rooms well supplied with body creams. We had excellent meetings. The cruising area is very well organized, with a condom and lubricant. The videos are not screened bareback and this is consistent with an invitation to use a condom. Highly recommended!

Huge place with really nice outdoor-pool. Some people were nude bathing. I was there on Sunday during CSD week and the place was packed! (probably way over +100 people). Many of them seemed to be tourists and this may not be true during regular time but there were so many muscle boys too. It is hard to argue if this one is better than Phoenix. They just offer something different.
