Gay Games VIII 2010 at various locations

Between July 31st and August 7th in 2010 the Gay Games VIII will take place in Cologne, Germany. Around 12.000 participants from all over the world are expected to take part in this sport and cultural event. Participant figures are reaching almost Olympic size.

Cologne is expecting over 46,000 guests for the Opening Ceremony at the RheinEnergie-Stadium in Cologne, home of the famous Cologne Soccer Club. It will be an impressive celebration and feature international stars, artistic athletic presentations, music, and of course the official procession of the participants! 10,000 athletes as well as about 2,000 artists for the cultural events from more than 70 countries are expected.
