I went to the sauna together with two friends, after excellent experiences with Phoenix Essen. But immediately upon arrival and walking down the stairs to the basement into the locker area, I got into trouble. People were SMOKING everywhere, and I'm quite asthmatic resulting in a shortness of breath - besides that is unhealthy. I expected that it was an incident, but walking through your facility I encountered many smoking men. All the 'this is a non-smoking area' signs confused me, so I asked the bar staff. They explained it was allowed to smoke in almost the whole basement, but 'upstairs' (basically, the bar and a small sauna) was smoke free.On their website and on some brochure comparing all Phoenix sauna's, it's not mentioned that smoking is allowed in almost the whole complex. Even more, both state that there is a "Smoking lounge", so I expected that smokers could smoke in there and outside of this lounge, smoking was not allowed.The sauna itself is quite filthy, with everywhere condoms and paper on the ground. It was quite cold, not pleasant if you're only wearing a towel. Compared to Phoenix Essen, Cologne is quite outdated. The men visiting the sauna were diverse, but most of them immediately grab your dick even before making contact. Not a very relaxed atmosphere.I couldn't stay there for long. I asked for a refund, but they said that that was not possible. It's better to visit another sauna in Cologne, or drive to Essen!
I am very dissapointed. I bought a combi e-ticket (party and sauna) for €20 via gaygo.eu but at the arty and in Babylon sauna they didn't even know there was a combi ticket, so they didn't accept it and they forced me to pay €13. WTF? In the entrance nobody told me how to handle this. There was no party organizer who could handle my claim. Very bad organized. The party in Sartory was a big disappointment too. A large venue with a low quality of sound system. People were just standing and talking to each other instead of enjoying the music and dancing! This is a DANCE party for god's sake, not a Tupperware party! If not for DJ PAGANO and the performance of PEYTON I would have left the party much earlier. Coming from Holland by train and paid lots of euro's for it, I can tell you: it's not worth it! No more SEXY party for me.
Danke für den tollen Abend. Leider gab es einige Probleme an der Garderobe, ansonsten muss ich sagen - TOP Party. Die Musikauswahl war wirklich der Hammer. Ich hatte viel Spass. Der Darkroom ist ein wenig klein, dafür ist dort immer was los - Im Verhältniss zum Club aber total ausreichend. Später ging es auch im ganzen Club ziemlich zur Sache. Ich komme wieder - Danke Jungs :-)
No athmosphere, boring music and a tiny cruising area. Add to that an unefficient and rude staff at coat Check, people there are looking at gays in a zoo, happy enough just to take the money: 2€ per article (it is à lot for Germany, especially a suposedly fetish one) To sum um: avoid it

Did went to Babylon on Monday the 29th of August. Although it was Monday and not a lot of guys were here, I did have a great time (as well did my husband). I love German guys: hot, rough, bearded...damn. The cruising area is really big and interesting. This place is a must to visit during your stay in Cologne! (BTW your ticket is valid for 24 hours so you can leave and return later on...)
CSD Cologne was wonderful again, although the weather copuld have been a bit warmer. Great atmosphere and great political awareness

One of the best saunas in which it was. Courteous, well attended, with smoking areas, and many opportunities to relax without necessarily having sex. Lot of movement in turkish bath, where people quietly sex. Changing rooms well supplied with body creams. We had excellent meetings.
The cruising area is very well organized, with a condom and lubricant.
The videos are not screened bareback and this is consistent with an invitation to use a condom.

Ich denke, es ist das Schlimmste, was ich je eine Sauna getreten. Der Verkehr ist nur für Personen über 70 Jahre, aber das ist nicht das, was macht es böse, ältere Menschen sind auch sie ein paar Momente der Freude berechtigt. Klein, eng, teuer (es kostet nur 1 € in weniger als groß und modern), mit zwei Duschen defekt, ein Spa von der Größe einer Dusche. Die Sauna und türkisches Bad sind sehr klein und die Struktur ist verfallen.
Es wäre besser, zu einer Reha-Klinik zu gehen.
ik was er afgelopen Vrijdag van +- 16 uur tot de Zaterdag midag+- 14 uur,Super,Geil en gewoonweg Geweldig,veel leuke knullen,en erg schoon deze Sauna(Phoenix in keulen),yep!!!
was er wel eens eerder geweest,met een vrienden stel,en ook in Phoenix Sauna in Essen ook erg mooi en veel groter,en ook niets op aan te merken,
(alleen het Muziek staat er na mijn mening nogal te hard in de nacht vooral,(?),
is maar met de trein vanauit Maastricht 2 uur en 15 minuut,
overstappen i Heerlen en aken,en dan de tram2 of 7 na de Sauna,je bent er zo,en ik raad het echt aan,gewoon keer doen,
tevens als je denkt wil er wel heen gaan,ma niet voor een dag/nacht,
dat kan als je vrijdags in de Sauna gaat kun je blijven tot de Maandag morgen en dat voor een en de zelfde prijs(natuurlijk bij het verlaten van de Sauna en het weder terug komen na de Sauna betaal je opnieuw,na midernacht(kom je voor midernacht weer terug in de Sauna,dan kost het je niets,das natuurlijk altijd wel fijn natuurlijk he,toch,?,
was er Vrijdag en wilde ook langer blijven,maar na een vrijdag en de hele nacht en de Zaterdag morgen/voor midag,had ik het wel voor gezien gehad hoor,maar zeker voor herhaling vatbaar,zeker!!!

kwam eerst vaker in Amsterdam,maar deze sluit om 8 uur smorgens das is ook wel ok,alleen waar dan heen na 8 uur Zondags morgen,alles is dan al dicht,en om in deze kou(nu)op de straat rond te moeten lopen,no thanks,
deze Gay Sauna in AMsterdam(termos Sauna gaat weer open om 12 uur,dus,
en zeker ook de moeite waar(alleen vind ik deze niet al te schoon!!!
de Phoenix Sauna in Essen en Keulen word regelmatig door het Personeel grondig schoon gemaakt(moet ook wel omdat deze geopend is van vrijdag tot de Maandag morgen,toch,ja erg schoon,en vriendelijk Personeel,en heerlijk en goedkoop eten,hmmmmmmm!!!
