Strass

Worst bar in the gay area I thought, went in and there was one lady workin at the bar chatting to the only three customers there. Was totally ignored for about 3 minutes while she finished her conversations. Felt like a total outsider as if the staff didnt want us in, the next round someone else served us and after laughing about something in catalan the prices of the beer went up! (yes we're tourists) Much better places nearby like Plata bar (very friendly) and atame and dacksys. Avoid unless your local. Cabaret was poor as well, toilets disgusting. Lazy ignorant staff.

Really nice place especially on weekends when there's no tables and people can dance!Unfortunatelly on this site nobody mentioned the BEST place to have a first drinks in Barcelona - it's a DACKSY bar (Concell De Cent 247) - if you want something really delicious and special - go there and get Sour De Amaretto - of all places I tried it in - it's the best!Plus I bet you would find it hard to take your eyez off the bartender Andrea - simply one of the sweetest faces in Barcelona:)If you go there - tell him "Hello" from two guys from Estonia:)
As for Strass - there's lots of young guys and the atmosphere is friendly and I couldn't find another place like this to get in the mood before going to Salvation.
