One of the most popular gay saunas right in the heart of Gayxample. A bit small though and therefore very crowded when the clubs close at Saturday and Sunday morning. This sauna is open 24/7.
The sauna has very few cabins which are all occupied. It's harder to find a free cabin than a sexy guy! The steamroom is very dark and the jacuzzi not very nice as it creates a special sticky odour.
Me:30 something year old tourist that speaks very good spanish, attractive, athletic build, 180cm Experience: I have been to this sauna twice. The first day I went instead of going to the club. I didn't not expect to find many guys but there were a few of all ages and sizes but not many that i would want to take into a cabin. So after lots of walking around I found a handsome southern Spanish guy who was not physically my type but was one of the better looking guys so we stayed the rest of out tie together in the sauna. It was nice. I returned the following day and there were a few more guys but even less to choose from. It is true that after the club closed more people showed up but the quality was not good. It seemed to be more the young bear type or Out of shape young feminine type guys. Very fee HOT! guys. also Some are too high or drunk to figure anything out. This is the only sauna I know in Barcelona. Saunas are a huge hit or miss and I think people should try to post reviews Does a place with better clientele exist? All reviews on Saunas in barcelona horrible. Maybe I prefer saunas in Madrid
Entrance is facing main intersection, expensive during circuit festival, smoking everywhere especially in dark ares :(, cold and dark downstairs near the few private rooms, nice bar with friendly staff next to small spa, sexy shower area with too many steps up and down on a single floor, free condoms and lube only given to you at entry not available in rooms or corridors :(, guys are hot and masculine with no attitude, for supposedly the best sauna it needs serious renovations, dry sauna door needs fixing, wet sauna is a dark room :(, rooms need cleaning out more often, overall the venue isn't great but the guys are hot
Overpriced sauna during BCN Circuit period, entry 25 euros. Only the renovated downfloor is worth to visit. The rest needs a major renovation asap. Aslo quiet cold by the lockers and showers.

Inside, it was empty, in the steam areas it stinked.
This sauna has the reputation of being the best sauna in barcelona, but facilities were old and the toilet was very dirty.
if you are looking for a good place to relax you rather go to the beach in Mar bella

i came here on saturday 7th july and had a great nght. i met a lovely french guy and we had a lovely time together, i am wanting to keep in touch with him so if you see this my name is paul, we should have met for coffee but i couldnt get there on time, was so disapointed. also the sauna was great, loadsa nice guys, clean and friendly

Ok, i wrote the last review and it sounds too good. I forgot to mentioned one bad thing. There was one toilet that smell like shit ( ok, there was def someone left it behind by accident) but no one clean it for while.

Well, I went there on Sunday at 8pm at the night of Euro final game ( i thought it would not be pack). But enough people though. The good thing is its open 24/7. So new people keep coming all the time. You should avoid the clubing time. Cause it has less people around that time. But who know who will be there and wait for you. So go at your convenience.
For me i had a great experience there, people are all varies of type, age, height, etc. All kind. some hot, some not. but its normal for every sauna i believe. But people are so completely nice and friendly. They ask your name and make you feel so comfortable. Usually i thought it will be just f*ck and go. but people actually do talking and get to know you. Quite strange for me. but adapted at the end. Maybe they were from all over the world i think.
The place is very clean. the staff cleans the place all the time. you can see them walking around cleaning and make up room. so room is clean every time when i get in one.
This place is truly recommended!! I met people that visit a lot of different sauna in BCN and they said Sauna Casanova is one of the best!

This sauna has significantly been downgraded with time. The sauna is nice and modern except they allow smoking in the cabins and it can get intoxicating. Also, mostly there are lots of ugly guys and old guys. Many of them touch you without you even looking at them. It is kind of sad with all the groping which is very annoying. I went there Sunday afternoon

There were people busy in their and that explains the smell. It is a little small (the saunas) but it has a nice athmosphere. Maybe i was in the new part? Is there an old part? Because i disagree with all the dirty comments below. Guy at the front desk does lie about the nimber of people inside to get you in.. Or they just can't count because spanish people are not the smartest with their i dont speak english i did not go to school im dumb stamp that they have all over them. the worst sauna in bcn and maybe europe.reception is not hospitable and arrogant, politeness is an unknown word at the reception.the sauna is dirty, disgusting and very old.was there end august but only for 5 mins.

I don't know what happened to this place. Ok it was always bit dirty and old, but full of hot guys, even during the week.But now...ughhhh not anymore...maybe on a sunday it is still hot...but avoid going during the week.

El lugar me parecio bastante normal, bien amplio y con cabinas suficientes al igual que privadas...fui pensando que encontraria algo bueno y habian puros maduros y abundaban osos...no esta mal, pero no era mi gusto, algo que no me gusto y lo halle de mal gusto fue que habian personas fumando en los pasillos a pesar de que esta prohibido.
