Well, good for a drink, but that's all. Looks a bit outdated inside. Relaxed atmosphere and all kinds of people. So give it a try, grab a beer here and meet/see people.

mainly mature men ...possible to find better place for early drinking

Full of muscle marys, like the rest of Barcelona, but this was one of the most varied and laid back places we found. Good for a drink early on (not sure what it gets like later), and the music was quiet enoug that you oculd actually chat to people. A good base to explore the rest of the scene,

The oldest in town: 15 years. Relaxed place with mixed audience. Many people smoke in Barcelona and here is the best place to notice that. The light is too much, same as the airconditioning. Go there for a drink and maybe... you never know!
