Love Ball 2007 was great. There were some problems though with the locations. One party was in a far away venue, and all night long a very bad smell was disturbing the atmosphere, once was in an open air area and there was no way to escape from the smell. The Great Ball of Love was fantastic, with really good DJ's but once again the venue wasn t the best. The party was held in a sport arena with not enough air conditioning and got really really hot overther. The organizers had to open all the doors of the venue because the heat was unbearable. Even though was a great party.

After the disasterous Loveball Barcelona '06, is anyone going to Loveball in Brussels this November? Last year's party in Brussels was generally pretty fun (although the cloakroom scrum at The great Ball of Love was the worst I've ever seen). However, had it not been for the terrible reviews of Loveball Barcelona, I'd be tempted to return to Loveball Brussels this year. Is anyone else going? It would be good to know what the general vibe is....

Bad organisation and low-budget events in Barcelona For sure this was our last loveball. The organisation was more awful than in Brussels. Moreover, if you remind of Brussels it is not as simple as that. The most events in Barcelona have been outside of the town. The descriptions were so bad, that no taxi-driver was able to find the way. Almost the people who work at the partys (DJs, GoGo´s lost ones way. The DJ-lineup sounds good on the flyers. However, they did not fit at work. The sound system at the great ball of love has been arranged for a childrens birthday party. In the end its not done by printing colourful flyers.

I can nothing but agree with the negative echo from that what was called "Loveball". It was on this "gay rib off" events and one should keep the organizers in mind to avoid future events they so proudly offer but so badly implement.

a message to michael: THANK GOD IN HEAVEN that whole northern europe wasn't at loveball! it was the worst f*cking party i 've ever been!!! organization at "ken loves party" on friday was a total complete nightmare!!! as the party was over a few hundred people couldn't get home cause there wasn't only one taxi and only 2 busses where all attacked in like maniacs as it arrived.... a situation like war!!! after 3,5 hours i was home at last. the organisers should be to divide into four parts! and last but not least the drink-ticket-crap was the biggest f*ck-up ever!

LoveBall in Barcelona was serious crap. The organizers would better have stayed in Belgium and kept it for themselves. It gave out a very damaging image for Barcelona gay nightlife. Music and such "cosmopolitan" Dj´s were pathetic. Clubs Organization:-10. Great Love Ball: how much money did the organizers spend on it and how much money did they earn? it was shameful!! LoveBall: go somewhere else next year !!

None of the parties was good. The organization was the worst ever seen. Too small places for so many people, bad music sound, no decoration, changing clubs in the last moment with short notice, big queues for toilets, even in the major event on saturday they run out of drinks!!! Most of people are unhappy with the event. Bad, bad, bad. I hope next year there are other organizers, otherwise is better not to have another Loveball in Barcelona!!!

I admit. Loveball in Barcelona was a disaster. Friday's party was the only fun, which was fun. All other parties were a nightmare for many reasons. There were people from all over Europe, as they were expecting an amazing weekend. At the end all parties ended at 5 am (!!!) ... and then the run for taxis started. I hope Loveball won't return to Barcelona. This city didn't appreciate it. I am sure there are many other cities, which would organize it much better than Barcelona. Very poor performance ...

LOVEBALL for sure, was great in brussel will be even better now in barcelona. i agree with the fact that gay events shouldn t try to kill eachother especially in europe where long party weekends are needed ... lets hope in a better co-operation in the future dj phil romano

Gay Pride Amsterdam, we've been there all ready, so this year we go Barcelona hopping instead; perhaps some other people will join the Ball of Love too. see U
