Kouros Sauna

Ik vond het een heel aangename sauna, ik was daarvoor 1 keertje naar de sauna dichtbij het stadspark geweest, hield het daar geen kwartier uit! Kouros is echt anders, het heeft iets 'gezellig' over zich, zeker voor wie sauna bezoek nieuw is is dit een aanrader zou ik zeggen, je kan rustig rondkijken, en ook wel wat meer;) leerde er een leuke jongen kennen. de privé cabines waren wel wat onhandig klein;) maar denk niet dat dat elders beter is

sauna agreable avant tout, surtout par beau temps avec un superbe jardin avec spa exterieur + piscine int+ext.
en fait, c'est "comme a la maison".
pas vraiment sexe mais ok par beau temps pour un bon moment de detente

Ga altijd naar Phoenix in Essen (duitsland). Antwerpen is dichterbij maar ben wel gewend aan wat actie in de stoomruimtes daar, beetje vergelijkbaar?

maandag voor het eerst in Kouros geweest. Was erg druk met voornamelijk oudere gay's. Stoomlabyrinth is erg donker en nodigd niet echt tot actie. Het darkroom labyrinth maakt en smoezelige indruk. Overal liggen tisseus. Ben er overigens meerdere malen heerlijk gepijpt. Personeel achter de bar is vriendelijk.

Kouros has a very nice garden and two nice pools. It's clean. However the employees are not very friendly and the drakroom is not very busy. The cruisy hammam is not very well designed to help people getting together... Besides the cruising premises are not big so the cruising is quite limited. Quite disappointed after the good reviews I read here. Not really worth the distance...

Dit is echt een geweldige sauna.
Om te ontspannen en te kijken.
Of als je daar zin in hebt ongelofelijk geile avonturen te beleven.

De Kouros is één van de beste sauna's die ik ooit heb gezien. Schoon, verzorgd en af ! Echt een aanrader.

I recently visited the place for the first time on a warm Sunday. It is indeed a very nice hangout for those who want the privacy for nudity, sun adoration and watching guys. The afternoon was packed as it was perhaps the first warm weekend of the year. I like the place, however there were not many guys of my type (straight-acting, young-looking & gym-type). The few that I was attracted to were not interested. I guess it's still a sauna game that people play. BTW, there's no more buffet on Sundays as stated in the old ads.

I visited this sauna on a Tuesday evening, mid March 2008 and thought it was quite good. Clean, comfortable with all the basic facilities (though the time of the year did not allow to use the potential of the garden, I assume it must be very pleasant on warmer days). The place was not packed with guys -I must admit- but those around were of mixed ages and quite a few to my taste (I am happy to say it turned out to be mutual). It’s correct that were also some regulars that seemed happy just to meet up at the bar (but I might have arrived to late to witness any earlier activities). But all in all, I would say this sauna caters to a variety of tastes. It has quite a suburban atmosphere (certainly not your average inner city, often more anonymous capital city saunas) which gives it its particular charm. I understand weekends (Sundays in particular) are very popular (given the room and capacity to enjoy and relax, the s*x facilities may become a bit overcrowded).

I've been ther Fridaynight 14 december around 20.00 There were only Five people! At eleven I was the last one there so I went also. The shouwers were under construction, the sauna itself was closed. 17 Euro's is to much money!

It was a great place a few years ago, but has deteriorated since: the clients are older, the infrastructure is older, and the space for s*x has diminished. THIS IS MORE A RESTAURANT WITH A SUNNY GARDEN THAN A GAY SAUNA!

I only go there on veeeery sunny summerdays. The rest of the year there are only the typical barflies: men in their fifties and sixties who come every week.

It's far from downtown, difficult to reach by public transport, hence no really young guys (who don't own a car). I prefer Herenhuis, De Lescluzestraat, Antwerpen-Berchem, between the train stations of Antwerpen-centraal and Antwerpen-Berchem, near tram 2 (stop at Harmonie) and 15 (stop at Harmonie or Merodeplaats)

Well, I visited Kouros for a first time this Sunday. It was a beautiful sunny day and there were a lot (I mean A LOT) of people. I had to wait half hour to get a chair to lay by the pool. The crowd was very mixed and not that beautiful (and I'm not that difficult). The staff is not fluent in English - they didn't understand my request for "diet coke". There are only 4 showers in a very small area where you have to squeeze to get in. And finally, my biggest disappointment was the cleanliness of the indoor pool; jacuzzi and relaxation cabins. The latter were really dirty. :-(

Kouros is the most wonderfull sauna in the benelux. Clean and hot. Good food, nice staff and wondefull atmospheer.

Wat een keuze van de beste gayfilms. Een echte aanrader om je gayfilms daar te huren, of te bekijken in de cinema of een privecabine en wat echt wel spannend is de darkroom met gloryhole's. Ik heb er altijd wel een geile tijd gehad. Groetjes William
