It is MY belief that if people have something to complain about they will take it a mile longer than they should. The Black Party to me was so much fun. The people there were having a great time, the music was fun, and for a first event I think it went off pretty nice. I think some things could have been done better but that's what forums like this are for... to suggest, criticize, and give another voice. I was just looking at some online reviews of the past Supermartxe and Rapido and with some of the reviews that they were given for the first FEW parties I am surprise they are still around (GOD BLESS THEM FOR IT and MUCH RESPECT TO THOSE ORGANIZERS!).

To the organizers of the BP... please do it again! And, do it in Amsterdam! And, do not worry about the people who complain... they will CUM again and again!

Het feit dat sommige dingen niet gelijk vlekkeloos liep, is er geen reden om het feest af te kraken. De muziek vond ik super goed, leuk publiek en de entertainment ook. Mijn bevindingen en ervaringen zijn zeer positief op enkele punten na: hokjes voor het omkleden, meer kleding voorschriften en meer informatie op de flyer. Verder heb ik geen commentaar. Kortom, het feest vond ik waanzinnig leuk, extravagant en totaal anders dan de rest van de feesten. Wij hebben ontzettend veel lol gehad:)

The attitude that flew from the bartender was vicious and uncalled for. He would roll his eyes at everyone and then not even say thank you if they left a tip. At the end of the night (5am?) he gave his "girlfriends" a garbage filled with beers right in front of everyone. Never again will I go there!

The owner wasn't very nice... in fact when I would drop off posters of other bars or events, he was the ONLY place in Amsterdam to decline taking "anything that promotes another place". I even said to him that promoting other places/events is what we should do as a small community... it doesnt hurt our businesses to help others out, in fact it helps keep our community strong and going!

Dansvloer was leeg en bij de rookruimte was de bar afwezig.
de darkroom ja ach wat zullen we daarvan zeggen.
Condooms niet te vinden.
Verder blijf ik het lexion gewoon niet de plek voor zon feest. al is het alleen maar de ligging.
OP naar Berlijn om dit hier snel te vergeten.

DJ's line up was average at most with the noticeable exception of DJ Jon Doe (who the hell decided to schedule him on the 2nd dance floor ... at midnight ?! Pathetic...). The party concept was totally unclear (Gay sex party with women ?! Couldn't see one by the way !!!), dress code rather "vague" and black outfit even not enforced....try to please everyone ... best recipe for failure. I guess we won't see much of a "Black" Party again in A'Dam. Hope the organization will learn something from it. Worth mentioning, Lexion remains a great venue for this type of events with a very friendly staff. Such a shame that the XXX Leather is no longer organized over there ....

Slechte website met erg weinig informatie alleen van de sponsers "die later waarschijnlijk spijt in hun hoofd hebben dat ze hun naam hier aan hebben gehangen als sponsor" Bustickets betalen duurde eeuwen. Bij binnenkomst geen omkleedruimte maar recht tegenover garderobe, waardoor iedereen stond te klunzen. Vervolgens een mega slechte dj die nummers als i want to fuck you in the..., en slechter, leek in het begin wel een staande receptie. Peter Rauhofer draaide goed. Een play area, waar geen plaatst was voor condooms, glijmiddel enz, waarom safe sex? Daar doen we als organisatie niet aan, om dat aan te bieden. Wc's ook weer bij een playdansfeest 0,50 cent vragen,armoedige optredens van onbekende mensen, waar niks aan was. Gelukkig waren er nog lasers opgehangen. Ik begrijp dat je voor 20 euro niet al te veel kan verwachten, maar wij hebben de ticketprijs niet vastgesteld, vraag dan iets meer zoals op Rapido die wel waar geeft voor het geld, en een feest dat werkelijk staat. Dit had niks met de Black Party in New York te maken, waar ik ook ben geweest, SHAME ON YOU. to call it the Black Party from New York. 1 x nooit meer.!!!!

THANK YOU. The place was packed and the energy reminiscent of the "old" days. The Web is still one of the only places in Amsterdam where a person can feel comfortable and this was apparent this whole weekend. With the Black Party and Ladz people all coming together after their events, it showed me that Amsterdam still holds to being the gay capital of Europe. A big THANK YOU to Dj Max, who played an AMAZING set, to the owner Ray for still GIVING back to the gay community a wonderful place to congregate for 19 years and to the staff of The Web for muscling thru into the wee hours to provide excellent service and fun energy.
