Where to stay?

Amsterdam is quite small and you can go walking to most gay bars, clubs and sauna. The center of Amsterdam is Dam square.

From Dam it's about a 10 minute walk to the gay area with the trendy bars, located on Reguliersdwarsstraat and Amstel. You will find many hotels here.

If you are more interestd in the cruise bars and leather bars you should stay near Dam / Central Station.

These hotels are within very few minutes from the gay area, with the trendy gay bars and clubs (Reguliersdwarsstraat and Amstel) and near the popular Kalverstraat shopping street.

Cruise bars & leather district

The cruise and leather bars are located in the Warmoesstraat, and small side streets off the Nieuwedijk (shopping street). The Warmoesstraat is the street with the most leather bars in Amsterdam. It is located between the main shopping district and the famous (and rather busy) Red Light District. Club Cockring can also be found here.

Budget hotels / hostels

Amsterdam is not a very cheap place to stay. Don't expect to find a regular double room for under €70. If you really need to go budget try one of the youth hostels, like the Flying Pig .
