Not gay, but massive and fun nautique event in the harbours of Amsterdam.
As in previous SAIL events, this event will attract Tall Ships from around the world. This means that, apart from a number of Dutch Tall Ships, you will have a chance to admire impressive windjammers from countries such as Australia, Brazil, Norway, Romania, Russia and the Ukraine at the harbour.
In addition to the Tall Ships, hundreds of classic sailing and motorboats will participate in SAIL Amsterdam 2010. These historic ships will dock at the Oosterdok and the Aquarena, west of the Verbindingsdam.
SAIL 2010 will be much more than just watching ships, taking in the atmosphere and enjoying surprising encounters. There are a lot of performances, shows, fireworks etc. planned in one of the six entertainment stages. 2,5 million people are expected, so just cruise for visitors or the sailors on board of one of the tall ships!
