Orange Ball at Schreierstoren

Een aanfluiting! Nee, wij gaan hier nooit meer naar toe. Het was bijna uitgestorven naast ons groepje waren er hooguit nog maar 30 anderen. Nu wordt het zelfs in een snackbar gezellig als wij er zijn maar het was zonde om in deze lege koude schuur een vrije avond te verspillen.
Verder een grijze muis die waarschijnlijk een doorbitch moest voorstellen, domme arrogante dansertjes die er niets van bakten en onhandig gehannes met consumptiebonnetjes, nee er was werkelijk niets aan. Niet meer naar te gaan dus.
De muziek was wel super!

I thought the shows were very very nice and non stop, In the main room there were 3 dj's, and the 2nd dj was really good, he really took everybody to the top ! i don't know his name. After that it was a little less, but still ok. And the club is a great venue !!

Music was good when we got there but after 2 hours of the same stuff, it got boring!! ;-(
Not as busy as we expected, but much much better than the party on the Ocean Disater!!!!!
As usual with Reidijk, the party seldom lives up to the hype!! (though the Go Go boys were H&H!!)

The Lounge bed was oright, dancers also, but get better dj's, 4 the price you ask on the door. The make the party to sleep

Orange ball was much better last year. The only thing i really appreciated from the organization was the kingsize bed in the middle and the hot go go dancers. Also very nice crowd. The DJ's were not that good. And the music i cant say it was bad, i will just say not my kind of music....

April 29th, 2006 Orange Ball - fine location at Powerzone (King-sized bed setting in the middle of the dance floor, it rocks!!!), great international DJs with fine music, unfriendly (give me something new) but very good looking crowd, simply another good and successful party.

Orange Ball 2005 was great and when I see the line up (if it is real) then 2006 will be great too. The DJs are much better then those playing usually at Amsterdam gay parties... The price seems reasonable too...

I wonder, does the Matinee Group knows they are invited?

The Matinee Group is a FABULOUS gay DJ collective based in Barcelona [comparable to the Salvation team from London]. Far from being "unknown" they've hosted their own morning in The Best Club In The World, Space Ibiza, for the past couple of years -- the Matinee Saturdays @ Space are wildly successful and truly excellent. While I do agree with the general negative opinion of Riedijk, I think it's only fair to note that this time around, the music could be fantastic... Not going though :-)
