During the National Remembrance of all Dutch war victims (especially those in World War II), gay victims are also remembered.
This ceremony takes place at the Homomunument, the only national monument for gay people in the world. All gay and lesbian victims are remembered during the nationwide two-minute silence at 20:00.
Assemble at COC Amsterdam at 19:00 (Rozenstraat 14); departure for the Homomonument is at 19:45 and the two minutes of silence and flowers are at 20:00.
