Exit Cafe at Club Exit

Since the re-opening of the cafe in 2011 (club will be re-opened march 2012 so I heard), atmosphere has completely changed, due to the new staff. Really friendly and I even got a free beer bc it was my first time there since the re-opening.
Music was very good and they took requests from the crowd. The only pointer I would have is the smoking. As a non-smoker I didn't really like the smoking inside which obviously was allowed.
ALl in all a place I would gladly return to!

UPDATE NEW 2011: The bar is re-opend. They changed the staff completly... now friendly & funny people behind the bar with a nice additude. Good music (sometimes a little too camp) and hot boys.

I have been to this place just a few times and everytime I go I have the same impression. The waiters are sooooo arrogant and unpolite. I am really surprised the guys behind the bar have kept their jobs for more than a week. It seems like they're making you a favour serving you a drink. It would make such a better atmosphere if the bar would have normal and nice waiters. I hope the manager of this place will hire nice and friendly people soon. All my friends think the same about these people, please change the waiters and make it a better place to hang out!!!

It was my second time here to the Exit Cafe and yet again the staff was absolutely terrible. The attitude that flew from the bartender was vicious and uncalled for. He would roll his eyes at everyone and then not even say thank you if they left a tip. At the end of the night (5am?) he gave his "girlfriends" a garbage filled with beers right in front of everyone. Never again will I go there!

gay bars and sites are generally UNfriendly anyway. I havent been to a gay bar in ages, it seems you have to bee a teenie supermodel to even talk to some one, never mind get laid. The staff are always unfriendly and think their shit dont stick like the patrons.

Unfriednly bartenders The manager really need to warn or even observe them one day to find out If,the unpolitness of the staff.I like the bar I lways meet new people.

I really dont know what is wrong with these BARTENDERS. In my whole live I had never trouble with ordering drinks (worked in the business myself), but these nasty guys behind the bar... MY GOD! The just started being nasty, while I was waiting for a drink. To another person they just held tip for themselves !!! Because the group didn't want to have any trouble they just let it pas by. I hear everybody complain about the bartenders... The only thing I guess people still go there because its the only (non-paid-entrante) place to go till late.

One of the best bars in town (to get laid!), nice music, nice 'all kind of people' bar... BUT the big problem is the staff at the bar. Please owner, replace these awful diva's. They even let Madonna wait if she would order!

the staff of this bar is extremely unfriendly. I only heard this of many peiople but now i have experienced this myself. In contrast with other reviews i Think the foreign personell, that doesnt even speak dutch after working their for years, is very rude. They think they are special working there and they can say anything they like to you. THey despize clients and the people who pay their rennt by being good paying custommers. boycot

Be carefull if you go to exit cafe....the waiters are very rude specially those who are dutch...they dont know how to serve a pint and the worse thing is that have no good manners...i will recomend you to aproach the foreign waiters as they will give you a nice and welcoming smile but the ducht ...they are so fed up of their own lives that they dont smile to anyone or they dont know how to socialize properly.

Exit Cafe was so much fun last night. At happy hour it got really busy. The music was great. They play almost everything. Hot bartenders

The worst Bar in Amsterdam specially the people who work there
been there while i was in Amsterdam and can tell you the people behind that bar are the typical queenies while was there was not just once i saw them making remarks and fun of clients i was with friends and we all hated that place more cause of the people who work there arrogants bitches , no wonder Amsterdam is losing tourists at least i ve been there before and can tell you Amsterdam now doesn t have nothing to do with the past nothing to go out or do is just a borring place , expensive and doesn t have nothing more atractive anymore ... and if Amsterdam doesn t do nothing soon gonna be worst than a remote village ...
