The Engel is my all time favourite bar in Amsterdam. The staff, the patrons, the whole atmosphere is great. I look forward to going there whenever I am in town.

Last time I was in Amst. I went to the angel. I went alone but at that bar your never alone,everybody is friendly and relaxed. All kinds of men, young, older, guys next door, leatherman, every type of guy you can think of. I felt at home, nice staf, a friendly and homely place because its so tiny!
