It has one of the best vantage points for "canal watching" in the whole of Amsterdam - sited at the junction of Oudezijds Voorburgwal and the "sluiss" to more open water, it has a constant traffic of boats pass under its windows.

Great bar with mixed ages. Relaxed and friendly. Food menu is also nice. Take your special person to the back nook so you can watch the swans in the canal!

De Barderij is een topkroeg met fantastisch personeel en tal van lieve en gezellige klanten in de leeftijd van 18 tot 85.
