De Parade is a travelling circus full of performances, theatre, dance and art. You can spend a whole evening eating, drinking, strolling between the different tents and watching some (short) shows.
De Parade is not specifically gay, but the Amsterdam edition always attracts a huge and diverse crowd from the city. So a lot of gay and lesbians can be found here too, especially when the Living Jukebox is performing.
De Parade can be reached by De Paradeboot (www.paradeboot.nl), which leaves and arrives from the Muziektheater and brings you over the Amstel river to the event.
