I went to Cuts and &Curls and although they seemed friendly when I went in, after that I was ignored a lot. They spend a very long time doing even the simplest cut and when I was next one of the stylists decided it was time for lunch and sat down and very slow ate cheese sandwiches. Nobody ever spoke to me after that. I thought perhaps it would have been nice to just speak to me and tell me how much longer they might be or offer me a drink or something, but nobody seemed to care. After what must have been at least a 40 minute wait with the stylish still just sitting eating, I decided to go. They looked surprised when I went out, as though I was somehow being unreasonable. I think they should try and look after potential customers a little better. The Bent Guide said they are much less busy than before and half the size - maybe they should think a little more about why - they lost a customer in me. I'm sure they weren't being intentionally nasty to me, and they were friendly enough to greet me when I came in, but after that it was like I didn't exist and nobody thought it might be nice to speak to me and tell me how long I might have to wait or ask if I'd like to come back later. Please guys try and think a little of your potential customers. I don't expect be to treated like Royalty but just acting like you know I am there and waiting would be nice! It was disappointing because out of all the hair salons in Amsterdam I chose you because I wanted to support a gay business and thought you would be friendly and fun. I hope maybe they will take my comments on board - I offer them in the spirit of friendship so that they may change a little!
