What is it?

Famous Club Exit will re-open as Club NyX. The club will stay 'gay' but will be more straight friendly as the former Exit. NyX promises three different floors with a new interior, new bars and different music styles. The Exit Bar will maintain as a Apres Ski style after bar.

NYX sucks ass! Some teenage girls who want to be all popular and anti-social and some insecure young guys who try to act all flashy and great: who BY THE WAY ALL will leave your crappy club as soon as something new opens....

Amsterdam sucks for tourists!! GAY capital, maybe 10 yrs.ago or if your looking for sex with old guys (plenty of darkrooms).... The arabs and turks ruined walking hand in hand (DONT TRY IT) and the Dutch just accept that. NO good clubs, SOHO & TABOO are shit and overprices. DO NOT GO to amsterdam for the gay life!!!!

Amsterdam gay capital? You're having a laugh.
It's been long dead. The decay started late 90s already. This town is overrun with moroccans and other ethnic queer bashers. The gay establishments are run by seedy mobsters who don't care about quality or atmosphere, just raking it in, and giving as little in return as possible. Hotels are overpriced. No gay tourists at all. Neither Dutch gays from the countryside go here, they prefer Germany if nearby, or fly to real cosmopolitan cities like London or Barcelona.

The Exit used to be the best place in Amsterdam. Thos new reinvention is the vilest thing on earth.

AMS Its so stupid in this way responding to Leo he is 100% right, this city is for gay guys one favorite posts throw money away, there is nothing in the whole city to experience it's like a village with a lot of homophobia it's not as if 10 years ago I live in Amsterdam now for 35 years and I have never seen this city as empty as it is now. So I say to all my friends abroad Do not throw your money away to go to Amsterdam Its better to go to Paris London Barcelona Berlin Tel Aviv At this places there is
something going on you can go to nice clubs for a normal price and the drinks are affordable and if you go to a GAY club you also know that the boys are gay Amsterdam was made sick by money horny fagots Amsterdam is over Let the people dream that this city is still the gay capital It look like the words off a stand up comedian.
Its stupid to think that this place is like its 10 years a go

Friday nov 16 th, R&B night... I went with some friends.. Only 18/20 year old white queeny boys looking rediculous in the dancefloor.
What was a BIG turn off was the decoration!!! KFC buckets hanging from the balcony! WTF??? Because its R&B they think that all black people eat only fried chicken?? Management has NO class at all!!!!! Will i see patatoes too on a normal night?

@Leo. Complaining about NYX and your conclusion is that whole Amsterdam is death. Speak for yourself, a lot of people from Amsterdam and outside still like Amsterdam as gaycity and not in shock. Maybe they are able to look further than only the Reguliersdwarsstraat

For the first time i write a review , been in Club Nyx already 3 times to give it a try since i was a regular of club Exit what i can say about Nyx in 3 times i been there i saw 2 fights all towards gay people , This place is not gay although is in gay street and before was a gay club , inside the club people who are just waiting for the small reasons to make problems , u wait 30 minutes in the queue just because all of employers are lazy and they want u to think the club is busy , Never i will go there as lots of my friends who share same opinion . The Amsterdam Gay scene almost doesnt exist anymore , gays who come to Amsterdam now for first time get the shock of their lives there is nothing for gays anymore and the gaystreet now only has 1 Gay Bar where you can see more then 10 faces the rest Forget Amsterdam clearly is Dead and Club NYX just come to prove that and to prove how Amsterdam is now towards gay people ... Very sad how Amsterdam become like this . Maybe new people who want to invest and open bars and clubs should start think in gay people as People and not cashmachines , Drinks always expensive and employers the worst queenys around thats how it is now
