One of the iconic bars of the Amsterdam gay scene received a total make over. With three bars and lots of space, April is one of the biggest gay bars of Amsterdam.

They have LOST IT! ... Anyway will not be going until the real BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE can take their place behind the
bar and make APRIL a real FUN gay bar ! Maybe a make over can help those frustrated bar tenders to lighten UP! Yes the owner is loosing income in this hard times!

Ed Fri 29 Jan 2010, 10:56 De April ziet er erg mooi uit van binnen, zo ook de bartenders, helas gedragen ze zich er ook naar. Je mag blij zijn dat je iets mag bestellen. Volgens mij zou het toch nog steeds andersom moeten zijn enige vriendelijkheid is zekere gewenst. De bar kan nog zo mooi zijn, maar het valt en staat toch nog steeds met het personeel. Beste manager doe iets aan de gastvriendelijkheid van je personeel, daar kun je een hop mee bereiken, het is zo jammer van een mooie bar.
Michael Mon 14 Sep 2009, 12:04 What happeded to the 18:00-19:00 happy hour during the week? It used to be a nice place to go after work. Now, I don't even bother going at all. Night-time happy hours dont work for me and the other 100 people that don't go to April anymore. Too bad!! Nice building renovation, but the happy hour schedule should also be renovated. Just a thought from a soon-to-be ex-customer.
